Free lessons
The first lesson of every course is open to everyone — no account, nothing asked. Read it here, as many times as you like. If it helps, there's more waiting whenever you're ready.
Who these lessons are for
If you've come out of a relationship that left you doubting yourself — where you walked on eggshells, apologised for things that weren't yours, or slowly lost track of who you were — these lessons were written for you. You don't need a label for what happened, and you don't need to be certain it was “bad enough”. If it hurt, you're welcome here.
Each free lesson is a complete lesson, not a taster clip: gentle education about why these things happen, what they can feel like, what your mind was doing to protect you, and small kind steps that may help. They're written to be read on a hard day — you can stop whenever you like and come back.
Emotionally Me educates, supports and signposts. It isn't therapy and it doesn't diagnose anyone, and support details are on every page in case you need someone to talk to today.
Emotionally Me is a place for compassionate, evidence-informed education. It isn't therapy, and it doesn't replace professional support. If you're in immediate danger, please call your local emergency number (999 in the UK, 911 in the US and Canada, 112 across much of the world). For confidential support any time: in the UK, the Samaritans on 116 123 or text SHOUT to 85258; in the US, call or text 988; anywhere else, find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You deserve support, and reaching for it is a sign of strength, not weakness.
